Dean Rager, President As President of Axiom since its inception, Dean presides over every aspect of the company, its future development and compliance oversight. Dean has served as an Executive team member of several broker-dealers. He also served as Chief Information Officer for the ING Advisors Network where he oversaw technological infrastructure. Dean completed a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and human resource management and received a Master of Science in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix. Dean holds Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses.
Wes Strode, CFA®, Senior Portfolio Manager As the Senior Portfolio Manager, Wes is responsible for the management and oversight of all Axiom strategist model portfolios, including model design, construction and management of all Portfolio Design Advisor (PDA) strategies. Wes also assists financial advisors with portfolio selection and custom research and analysis. Wes has a master’s in financial management and has held investment analysis, management, and other positions at several financial services firms including State Street Bank &Trust and Old Mutual Capital. Wes received his CFA® Charter in 2010.
Paul Knipping, CFA®, Portfolio Manager As Portfolio Manager, Paul is responsible for the management and oversight of all Axiom strategist model portfolios, including model design, construction and management of all Portfolio Design Advisor (PDA) strategies. Paul is also responsible for performance reporting and model maintenance. He also assists financial advisors on various research projects and custom portfolio allocations. Paul attended the University of Colorado where he studied finance and has held positions in investment banking, mutual fund analytics, and equity trading with large financial institutions including Oppenheimer Funds and Lipper. Paul received his CFA® Charter in 2014.
Pam Reichert, Director of Operations As Director of Operations, Pam oversees the operations team. Pam is responsible for her team’s implementation of management policies and procedures and assures the smooth and accurate functioning of all aspects of operations. Pam manages multiple custodian relationships, bridging the technological gap operationally including the intricate complexities of billing. Pam has been serving as an operations expert in the financial advisory and broker dealer community for over twenty years. She began with a highly successful advisor managing the entire office from client contact, model management and financial planning. Pam moved on to the highest level of operations and has served her past twelve years as the Director of Operations for overlapping entities including Portfolio Design Advisors. Pam holds Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses.
David Browning, Vice President of Business Development Dave's primary focus is helping financial advisors with Axiom's Broker Dealer relationships become more successful, with a healthier work/life balance. He is the Broker Dealers' and their advisors' AUM Growth Partner, with ideas and programs for generating prospects, and closing and managing fiercely loyal clients. Dave's record of creating advisor success comes from more than 30 years of financial services experience, with a wide variety of investment, product, technology, and best practices knowledge. With both the Broker Dealers and their advisors, Dave starts by listening - this way he knows how best to help these advisors and BD's reach levels of success that are well beyond their expectations. Through extensive advisor sales and behavioral finance research, Dave developed a highly compelling and effective key value statement for advisors. He also created highly successful prospect lead generation and closing systems, which are enjoyable and result in the advisor selection decision being a natural and self-evident next step for these prospects. Nationwide, Dave is in extremely high demand as a speaker for both advisor groups - with AUM growth training - and for directly helping advisors move large gatherings of prospects to successful closes. David earned a B.S. in Accounting from Oral Roberts University in 1983, and holds a Series 65 securities license.
